At Road Ahead Mobile Weigh, our mission is to ensure that everyone hits the road with confidence and safety, especially when towing caravans. We’re Aaron and Hayley Robinson, and after serving 16 years in the RAAF, I felt inspired to combine our passion for camping and caravans with our desire to help others. That’s how Road Ahead was born.

With specialized training from Auswide Weighing and Safety and extensive driving and logistics experience from our RAAF careers, we offer a detailed, hands-on approach that goes beyond just weighing your vehicle.

Expert Vehicle Weighing

Road-Ahead Mobile Weigh utilizes a cutting-edge, completely wireless system for weighing your vehicles on-site. This portable and durable equipment allows them to accurately measure individual wheel weights, axle weights, and your vehicle’s total weight.

Our system goes beyond basic weight readings. We can determine your Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM), Gross Combination Mass (GCM), Tare weight, and even tow ball weight – providing a complete picture of your vehicle’s weight distribution.

For your peace of mind, you’ll receive a comprehensive printout detailing all the weight measurements taken for your vehicle and caravan.

Safety First

An overloaded vehicle can be a recipe for disaster. Exceeding weight limits can lead to:

Reduced Braking Performance: Your brakes are designed to handle a specific weight. Extra cargo can significantly increase stopping distances, making it harder to avoid accidents.

I recently had my caravan and car weighed by Aaron and Hayley, and I must say I was very impressed with the knowledge and professionalism shown by them throughout the whole procedure. The report provided was amazing, with so much detail giving me.a very clear picture of where I can and cannot add more weight. I can now confidently tow my caravan knowing I am 100% legal.
